Meet Administrative Officer Tammy Hall

Office of the Chief – Fiscal Operations Division

Administrative Officer Tammy Hall is currently assigned to the Fiscal Operations Division. She began her career with the Sacramento Police Department in 1996 as a Dispatcher. She was promoted to a Dispatcher III in 2006 and transitioned to the Communications Academy Coordinator in 2014. In 2017, Tammy was promoted to Administrative Analyst and began her five-year tenure in the Outreach and Engagement Unit. Prior to her most recent promotion as an Administrative Officer, Tammy served as the Chief of Police’s Executive Assistant for almost four years.

Tammy has two degrees, one in Management and her second in Business Administration, and is a recent graduate of the Frontline Leadership Program.

Throughout Tammy’s nearly 30-year career, she has been the recipient of several award recognitions, including the Professional Staff of the Year in 2015, the Community Service Award in 2019, a Unit Citation commendation in 2020 and a Distinguished Service Award in 2025 for her role in the implementation of a Professional Staff career development program.

Tammy considers her role within the Sacramento Police Department a high honor and is committed to fostering a positive relationship between the Sacramento Police Department and the community it serves through trusted partnerships and excellent customer service.
