The City of Sacramento street network is organized by classification types such as arterials, major collectors, minor collectors, and residential streets. These classifications help guide traffic flow, development planning, and infrastructure maintenance.
You can view the Street Classification Map to see how each street is designated. Restoration standards vary by street type and are outlined in Section 13-4 of the City Standard Specifications which governs the requirements for pavement repair and construction. Please refer to this section for detailed information on street restoration based on classification.
