Meet Supervising Dispatcher Marc Tantillo
Office of Specialized Services - Support Services Division - Public Safety Communications
Supervising Dispatcher Marc Tantillo began his career with the Sacramento Police Department in September of 2006. Prior to promoting to Dispatcher III, Marc served as a Communications Training Officer and Dispatch Academy Instructor. As a Dispatcher III, Marc was one of the day shift frontline supervisors and then became the Administrative Dispatcher III before promoting to Supervising Dispatcher in May of 2023.
In 2019, Marc was selected as the Dispatch Supervisor of the Year. Marc completed the National Emergency Number Association’s Center Manager Certification Program, and he is a graduate of the POST Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute. Marc possesses an associate’s degree in Administration of Justice and is preparing to return to school to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Emergency Services Management.

Outside of work Marc enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids play sports, and coaching his daughter’s soccer team.
