Meet Administrative Officer Audrey Lee

Office of Investigations – Personnel Services Division

Administrative Officer Audrey Lee began her career with the Sacramento Police Department in 1991. She started as a Volunteer in the Narcotics Division and then as a Student Trainee in the Crime Analysis Unit before being hired as a Community Service Officer in 1994. She worked in the Patrol Division in the South Area and then as the Crime Prevention Specialist and Community Liaison for the South Area. Audrey promoted to Public Information Coordinator and then to Program Analyst in the Office of the Chief where she worked with our media unit and handled internal communications and special events. She was promoted to Administrative Officer in 2015 and is currently assigned to the Personnel Services Division where she oversees the team that manages the human resources needs of the Department.

Audrey earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and holds Certificates in Meeting Planning and Human Resources Management from California State University, Sacramento. She is a graduate of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Sacramento Program and the California Peace Officer Standards and Training Management Course.

She is a recipient of the Department’s Distinguished Service Award and has especially enjoyed managing special events and celebrations in the past that have brought Sacramento Police Department employees and the community together.
