Overnight Guest Docking

Request for space must be submitted in advance by completing the online Overnight Guest Docking Agreement form

The Sacramento Marina is a municipal recreational facility.

Advanced submission of the online Overnight Guest Agreement form, with the upload of the required documentation, will serve as the formal request to reserve an overnight space. All required documentation must be uploaded via the online form to constitute a complete request for available space. Any missing documents or information may delay approval of your agreement or result in a denial of the request.

Docking overnight without prior authorization and/or payment of fees is prohibited. Forms and documents submitted via the online form are subject to approval. Docking space is not available until Marina management has confirmed availability and received payment of the amount charged.

Document requirements for request

  • Proof of vessel insurance in registered boater’s name with additional insured endorsement ($300,000 P&I Liability or Watercraft Liability clearly stating the policy covers salvage and pollution) . Verbiage for additional insured should read as: CITY of Sacramento, its officials, employees and volunteers 2710 Ramp Way, Sacramento, CA 95818
  • Proof of DMV registration or U.S. Coast Guard documentation in registered owner’s name 
  • Valid photo ID of registered vessel owner 
  • Proof of California Boater Card (as of January 1, 2024 – required for any person 60 years of age or younger)

Overnight docking fee

There is a fee of $50 per vessel, per night.  An approved agreement form and any fees must be paid prior to docking.
