Welcome to Summer Oasis
Your summer camp for youth and teens ages 5–17, hosted at community centers, clubhouses, and select parks throughout Sacramento.
What to Expect
- Programs are grouped by age to support development: Kinders (5), Youth (6–12), and Teens (13–17)
- Traditional summer camp experience with indoor and outdoor activities
- Arts and crafts, sports, games, and neighborhood trips
- Swimming at participating locations
Meals
Meals provided in partnership with local school districts
Pricing & Sessions
- $55–$115 per session (varies by location)
- Each session lasts 4 weeks
- Exception: William Land Park Session 2
Financial Assistance
Free participation available through the Youth Program Scholarship Fund

Q: What is summer oasis?
A: Summer Oasis is our summer day camp program, now unified under one name, Summer Oasis, which combines the former Kids Camp and Teen Scene. It offers a fun, safe, and enriching experience for youth and teen ages 6-17, with engaging activities at various locations throughout the City of Sacramento, with lunch included.
Q: Where is camp held?
A: Summer Oasis is located at community centers, clubhouses, and parks across the City of Sacramento.
Q: Who can particpate?
A: Youth ages 6-17 are eligible to register for Summer Oasis (Summer Oasis: ages 6-12 available at all locations, Summer Oasis Teen: ages 13-17 available at select locations).
Q: What activities are included?
A: Campers enjoy a variety of activities, including: Outdoor games and sports, Arts and crafts, Team-building exercises, STEM and educational activities, Water play (where available), and themed activities.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Summer Oasis is a fee-based program, with sessions generally ranging around $80–$115. Costs vary by camp location. Scholarships are available for qualifying families, and we recommend applying early.
Q: How do I apply for a scholarship for my child?
A: To apply, visit our Youth Program Scholarship Fund website. You may apply online or in-person through your local community center. If you don’t qualify, financial hardship scholarship may be available.
Q: How long is a session?
A: Sessions are offered in four-week sessions; holiday schedules may affect session length.
