Let your imagination run wild at Fairytale Town, a 3.5-acre children’s storybook park that brings fairytales and nursery rhymes to life! Located in William Land Park in Sacramento, Fairytale Town has delighted millions of guests, inspiring imagination, creativity and literacy since it opened in 1959. Over 26 bright and colorful play sets give young children a backdrop to act out their favorite stories, to encourage creative discovery, and to exercise their minds and bodies on child-friendly slides throughout the lush grounds.

Park Attractions

Park attractions include King Arthur’s Castle, the Story Center, the Giant’s Foot from Jack and the Beanstalk, a Pirate Ship, Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest, Mr. McGregor’s Garden, and the Mother Goose Stage. Numerous slides are situated in play sets throughout the park, including the Old Woman’s Shoe slide and Owl’s Tree House slide. The Crooked Mile is the hands-down favorite set!
