We are now accepting applications for 2023 season! If you are looking to spend your summer being a part of a unique and dynamic team while living and working in the High Sierras, take a look at these available positions!
Camp Aide
Under immediate supervision, assist staff with delivering recreation programs and activities; perform cleaning and light maintenance of recreational equipment and facilities such as, the dining hall, restrooms, and common areas; provide customer service for guests; and, process sales transactions at the camp store.
Camp Recreation Leader
Under general supervision, coordinate and lead activities at Camp Sacramento in the areas of athletics, nature, music, or arts and crafts.
Camp Host
Under immediate supervision, provides general office support to the Business Services Manager; assists camp guests; handles retail purchase transactions at the camp store; and, assists staff with performing guest education and recreation activities.
Camp Program Director
Under general direction leading, supervising, and participating in a wide variety of group activities; and, training and supervising subordinate staff.
Assistant Camp Chef
Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of duties involving the operation of a food service facility at Camp Sacramento including, preparing, baking, and cooking large quantities of food; dispensing food for the residents and employees; and, maintaining sanitary conditions.
Assistant Camp Caretaker
Under general supervision, perform skilled work in general camp maintenance for all camp facilities including, buildings, grounds, equipment, mechanical operations, water and sewer systems, and related support equipment.
Camp Chef
Under direction, responsible for the efficient operation of the dining hall, kitchen, and food preparation at Camp Sacramento; maintain quality control of all meals, food inventory, recordkeeping, food service equipment, and supplies; and, supervise all food services staff.
Camp Caretaker
Under general supervision, perform skilled work in general camp maintenance for all camp facilities including, buildings, grounds, equipment, mechanical operations, water and sewer systems and related support equipment; and, supervise, train, direct, and evaluate subordinate personnel.
