About Lisa Kaplan
Lisa was sworn in on December 13, 2022 and has since served District 1 on the Sacramento City Council. She has been a champion for the voices of her constituents on the issues that matter most to them; from public safety and active transportation to opportunities for economic development, efficiency in our public services and improving our community's infrastructure & family amenities.

District 1 is the northernmost city district. It is bordered by District 2 to the east, running along Norwood Ave, Berthoud St, Magpie Creek, Main Ave, Sully St, Exchange St, Rio Linda Blvd, and near Rose St. It borders District 3 to the south along Arena Blvd, Truxel Rd, Terracina Dr, and Gateway Park Blvd. It also borders unincorporated areas to south along the East Drainage Canal, between Blackrock Dr and Professor Ln, Del Paso Rd, Sotnip Rd, East Levee Road and Northgate Blvd.
