Vehicle parking

Sacramento Valley Station has 333 onsite spaces for hourly, daily and reserved parking. Additional City parking facilities can be viewed on this map.

Station passengers can also park in the Old Sacramento City Garage located under the Interstate 5 freeway between 2nd and 3rd streets, with entry under the freeway at I Street, between 2nd and 3rd Streets.

Bicycle parking facilities

Sacramento Valley Station provides over 140 secure bike storage options in multiple types for short and long term security.

40 free public bike racks are provided along the northern edge of the building just outside and two the west of the northern doors of the Main Waiting Room.

From the sheltered Concourse on the north side of the Main Waiting Room, 60 secure bike racks are available for contract with BikeHub which provides services at other stations in California.

Electric Vehicle charging stations at SVS

Sacramento Valley Station has two electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on site.  A two-stall station provided by the local utility SMUD has two charging stalls to the west of the station in Lot 293.

The City of Sacramento maintains two Fast Chargers in Lot 293 adjacent to I Street. Go to the city's Electric Vehicle Parking for more information on this facility and others located nearby, and throughout the City network.
