Ryan Bullard
Meet Lieutenant Ryan Bullard
Office of Operations – Central Command
Lieutenant Ryan Bullard began his career with the Sacramento Police Department in 2000. He is currently assigned to the Office of Invstigations, Forensics and Investigative Services . Ryan was previously assigned to Citywide Special Events . He has also worked as a Patrol Officer, Problem Oriented Policing Unit Officer, Robbery/Burglary Detective, Homicide Detective, Internal Affairs Investigator, & Regional Transit Police Services Division.
Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University. Ryan’s older brother was a police officer with a different agency, and Ryan always looked up to him. Before he started college, he knew that law enforcement seemed like a fun and exciting career that he wanted to pursue. Sacramento was an area that he was familiar with growing up, so because of how close it was to family, being familiar with the area and how big the department was, he chose SPD.
