Vision Zero School Safety Project - Phase 2

Project Description

The Vision Zero School Safety Project - Phase 2 will evaluate and install safety improvements at eleven schools located throughout the City of Sacramento. The recommendations being evaluated were the result of the Vision Zero School Safety Study and include elements such as upgrading curb ramps to ADA standards, installing additional signing and striping, as well as evaluating locations for the possibility of new speed lumps, croswalks, stop controls, RRFB's, traffic signals and pedestrian signals.

 

The eleven schools included in this project are:

  • Garden Valley Ementary School
  • Northwood Elementary School 
  • Mustard Seed School
  • Washington Elementary School
  • Miwok Middle School
  • Sacramento Charter High School
  • Bret Harte Elementary School
  • Earl Warren Elementary School
  • Capitol Collegiate Academy
  • Rio Cazadero High School / Las Flores High School
