The City of Sacramento’s Financial Empowerment Center coaching team uses Bank On as one tool toward helping local residents find and use safe, affordable accounts, with no overdraft or hidden fees.
All Bank On certified accounts offer the following features:
- No overdraft or other hidden fees
- No minimum balance required
- Minimum opening deposit of $25 or less
- Low monthly fee: usually $5 or less, as low as $0
- Online and mobile banking, with online bill pay
It doesn’t matter how much money you have, if you don’t have a social security number or California ID, or if you’ve had trouble banking in the past. With Bank On, everyone is welcome. Use the bank locator tool and account comparison chart below to find the right account for you.
**Special note about COVID-19-era account opening**
Many of these accounts can be opened online. For more details, click here for a message about remote account opening from CFE Fund.
