Water Safety Day

You’re invited to a day of aquatic education and fun at our Water Safety Day event! Join us for a splashing good time dedicated to educating and empowering the community to be safe in and around the water. Our event is filled with valuable safety tips, interactive demonstrations, and free recreational swimming for the whole family.

Date: Sunday, May 26
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: 2450 Meadowview Road.
Cost: Free admission!

Event Highlights

Safety Demonstrations: Our knowledgeable instructors will lead informative stations covering essential safety topics. Learn about drowning prevention, recognizing hazards, and staying safe in various environments.

Sacramento Fire Truck (2:00pm – 3:30pm)

Swimming:

Take a dip in our heated pool and practice water safety skills!

Register for Summer Programs:

Explore our summer programs and sign up for swim lessons, junior lifeguard camps, and other aquatic activities.

Capture the Moments:

Our photographers will be on hand to capture candid moments (follow us on Instagram @ypce_cityofsac for a chance to see your photo!).

Important Notes:

All ages are welcome to join. Normal pool rules apply. Participants are required to wear swimming attire in the water.
Non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult within arms’ reach while in the water.
Only City-issued lifejackets allowed (available onsite, free of charge).
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Safety measures and lifeguards will be present to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Join us for an EGG-citing spring-themed adventure where fun extends from egg hunting to the refreshing poolside! Dive into an unforgettable blend of traditional egg hunting and splashing water adventures for a seasonal celebration like no other.

Doggy Dip Day

Dive into a tail-wagging good time at our Doggy Dip Days this fall! Whether they’re seasoned swimmers or just dipping their paws in the water for the first time, this event promises a wet and wonderful adventure for everyone. Bring your canine companions to make a splash at Pannell-Meadowview Pool, where they can paddle to their heart’s content in a safe aquatic environment. There will be raffle prizes, free treats, and more!
