Pannell Meadowview Pool

Event Highlights:

Pumpkin Pool Plunge: Watch as our pool transforms into a floating pumpkin patch! Dive in and pick your favorite pumpkin right from the water. The perfect opportunity for adorable photo ops and memories you won’t forget.
Arts & Crafts: Unleash your creativity and design your chosen pumpkin at our decorating station. From spooky designs to cute characters, let your imagination run wild as you craft one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Games & Activities: Our event is filled with entertaining activities for all ages! Join in the fun or simply relax by the pool to soak in the festive atmosphere.
Capture the Moments: Our photographers will be on hand to capture candid moments of joy, laughter, and connection. From the vibrant decorations to your pumpkin pool adventure, your memories will be beautifully preserved (follow us on Instagram @ypce_cityofsac for a chance to see your photo!).
Important Notes:
- All ages are welcome to join in the festivities. Normal pool rules apply.
- Participants are required to wear swimming attire in the water.
- Non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult within an arm’s reach while in the water.
- Only City-issued life jackets allowed at Pannell Meadowview Pool (available on-site free of charge).
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
- Safety measures and lifeguards will be present to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Doggy Dip Day

Dive into a tail-wagging good time at our Doggy Dip Days this fall! Whether they’re seasoned swimmers or just dipping their paws in the water for the first time, this event promises a wet and wonderful adventure for everyone. Bring your canine companions to make a splash at Pannell-Meadowview Pool, where they can paddle to their heart’s content in a safe aquatic environment. There will be raffle prizes, free treats, and more!

Event Highlights:

Poolside Playtime: Let your furry pals experience the joy of swimming and splashing in a controlled and supervised environment. Our trained lifeguards will be there to ensure their safety while they frolic in our heated pool.
Doggie Refreshments: After all the aquatic adventures, your pups can refuel with a variety of refreshing snacks. Hydration stations will keep them cool and energized throughout the event.
Contests: Obtain a raffle ticket at the front entrance for a chance to win pawsome prizes!
Capture the Moments: Our event photographers will be on the lookout for those adorable and candid moments between dogs and their owners. Strike a pose by the pool or let your pup’s water antics be immortalized in photographs you’ll cherish forever (follow us on Instagram @ypce_cityofsac for a chance to see your photo!)
Souvenirs: Don’t forget to grab an event souvenir on your way out to remember this special day!
Important Notes:
- All participating dogs must be well-socialized and up-to-date on vaccinations.
- Lifeguards will be onsite during this dogs-only swimming event.
- Dogs are allowed to swim, play fetch, and interact with other dogs.
- Owners are responsible for their dogs’ behavior throughout the event and must be prepared for clean-up duty.
- Unruly behavior may result in the removal of the dog from the event.

Water Safety Day

You’re invited to a day of aquatic education and fun at our Water Safety Day event! Join us for a splashing good time dedicated to educating and empowering the community to be safe in and around the water. Our event is filled with valuable safety tips, interactive demonstrations, and free recreational swimming for the whole family.
