Development Review
Development related standards
There are various City standards, policies, and forms related to project review and construction of development on private property and in the public right-of-way. Here is a list of resources to assist in the development process.
Public works department
For public works projects, the City’s Development Engineering reviews plans to determine if the proposed development project may affect the public aspects of a project (i.e., the sidewalk, streets, etc.), and, if so, that these aspects are designed properly.
- Plan check – Public Works reviews public infrastructure aspects of proposed development projects. This page also contains forms and publications related to engineering services.
- Map review – occurs when an applicant wishes to combine or divide existing parcels.
- Engineering fee deposit calculator – Calculates an estimate of the initial engineering fee deposit for a proposed project, based on the value of the improvements to be made.
- Minor Encroachment Permits and related forms.
