Tammy Jones
Meet Administrative Officer Tammy Jones
Office of the Chief – Government Affairs Unit
Administrative Officer Tammy Jones began her career with the Sacramento Police Department in 1997. Her past assignments include working in Homeland Security and Economic Development. Prior to joining SPD, she worked at her alma mater, the University of Southern California.
Tammy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and she received a master’s degree in Organization Management from the University of Phoenix. Tammy has a certificate in Grants Management.
Tammy served on the board of the Sacramento Police Athletic League (SacPAL) from 2000-2002. She is also proud to have worked on the racial profiling data collection project, including hosting the first western regional conference on the topic in 2002.
