On December 1, 2022, the Youth, Parks, and Community Enrichment Department re-assumed operations of Clunie Community Center, Shepard Garden and Arts Center, and The McKinley Rose Garden. Facility and rose garden use rental applications are being accepted.

Programs

Recreation Explorer Camp

The REC Program is for 3-5 year old children. We will provide a recreational program filled with FUN activities. The program will focus on social, physical, academic, emotional and theme activities. We ensure your child is in a safe, supportive, and caring environment. All participants must be fully potty trained.

Days/Fees: $84 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; $54 on Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 8:30am-11:30am
Location: Rose Room- Next to the Rose Garden at McKinley Park.
Age:3-5 year old
Limited to 12 children

Scholarships available, but limited. Contact ClunieCC@cityofsacramento.org for a tour of the facility.

Summer Oasis

Summer program for children 6-12 year old at Clunie Community Center. Each week is filled with varies fun activities for this age group! Sign up online for this program!

Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 9am-2pm
Location: Clunie Community Center- Auditorium
Fee: $115 for Week 1; $115 for Week 2
Space is limitied

Zumbini

Created by Zumba and BabyFirst for kids ages 0-4, the Zumbini program combines music, dance, and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun! Open to the child and Mom, Dad, Grandma, or any caregivers.
