2026 Community Ambassadors

Halyna Tofan

Halyna Tofan is a dedicated, community-focused professional with experience in social services, housing navigation, and nonprofit work in Sacramento. She currently supports vulnerable populations facing housing challenges, collaborates with local agencies such as Sacramento Steps Forward, and helps connect individuals and families to essential resources, safe housing, and long-term stability.

Ms. Tofan brings over three years of experience in community engagement, plus a strong background in law and project coordination. She uses her fluency in Ukrainian and Russian to assist immigrant and refugee families who face language or cultural barriers. Building trust, improving access to services, and strengthening neighborhood connections are at the center of her work.

As a Sacramento resident and a mother, she cares deeply about the safety, well-being, and inclusiveness of our neighborhoods. She wants to elevate community voices, support local initiatives, and build stronger connections across diverse communities through her role as Community Ambassador.
