George Vang was born and raised in North Sacramento and currently resides in the Land Park area. Growing up facing poverty and navigating the challenges of the system instilled in him a strong sense of integrity and a dedication to ethical standards, shaping his commitment to ensuring fairness and accountability in all areas of life. After graduating from Rio Tierra Junior High, he moved to Minnesota to live with his grandparents, where he spent over a decade. Although the snowy winters brought a true sense of the holiday spirit, the sharp cold of the Midwest eventually inspired his return to his hometown of Sacramento.
