Rates & use of parking lots
Parking lots are unattended and require payment at any kiosk located on the parking lot premises.
- Payments made to kiosks or mobile app payment signage located on sidewalks or in the right-of-way outside of any parking lot premises are not valid for off-street parking lots.
- Facilities listed below are the only facilites owned or managed by the City of Sacramento. Inquiries about any other facilities should be directed to the private parking management company using the contact information posted at their facility.

Garcia Bend Park (7654 Pocket Road)
Vehicles without a boat trailer or any other attached marine equipment:
Free parking is available outside of the main parking lot and along the park. Parking in the longer stalls in the main parking lot without an attached trailer or marine equipment is prohibited, regardless if a parking fee is paid. These stalls are limited and must be reserved for vehicles towing boat trailers and other marine equipment.
Boat launch parking for vehicles towing marine equipment (longer stalls)
ParkMobile Zone #552 ($0.35 convenience fee added per transaction)
Payment machines require entry of the vehicle's license plate number for enforcement. No receipt or permit needs to be displayed on vehicle dash.
Summer: $15.00 (effective Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Fall to Spring: $10.00 (effective day after Labor Day through the Friday before Memorial Day)
Annual boat launch parking
These are parking passes that provide a discount over parking lot rates at both Miller Park and Garcia Bend boat launch parking lots. Passes are only valid at the longer length parking stalls designed for vehicles with attached trailers or marine equipment. Passes are not valid for standard parking stalls.
Boat Launch parking passes are available for purchase in the Revenue Division.

Lot 293 Sacramento Valley Station (401 I Street)
Spaces # 1 - 32 are located within a 2-hour max parking section. This is a separate section located near the entrance of the Amtrak Station. The two-hour limit is strictly enforced. Movement between any stalls within this section to avoid the two-hour time limit is prohibited. Parking citations will be issued for vehicles parked within this section for more than two hours. Parking stalls that allow longer parking sessions are located outside of this section.

Bus parking (Charter or school bus): Entrance off I St at 2nd St, across from Old Sacramento Garage. Parking lot is to the left, behind the Old Sacramento Railroad Museum.
Parking is FREE for buses in this section only. Buses may not park in other sections in Lot 293 because stalls are intended for smaller vehicles. Buses parked in the RV spaces must pay the fee for those spaces.
In rare instances when buses must park outside of the bus section, payment is required for each space a bus occupies. Payment for one parking space when the bus occupies multiple spaces is not allowed and will subject the bus to a parking citation for each space that is not paid.

Any stay past 5:30 p.m. will require payment at the regular rate. The availability of the Early Bird offer is subject to change at any time and does not apply to overnight parking or on days or hours when the Metro Lot accommodates special event parking. The Early Bird signage will be removed from the entrance on the days when the offer is not available. No discounts, coupons or validations are accepted with this rate.
