Group Parking Discounts

Discount Rate

Group parking discounts are available for up to 20% off the daily parking rate at City-owned garages. A minimum order of 20 passes is required for purchase.

All orders are custom-made and prices will reflect parking rates for the designated parking garage. Rates are based on the garage daily rate and events scheduled at the same time or date.

Discount parking passes are available for events such as, but not limited to, weddings, half-day seminars, evening events, or a conference. Parking passes may only be used at the following City-owned garages:

  • Tower Bridge Garage
  • Old Sacramento Garage
  • City Hall Garage
  • Capitol Garage
  • Memorial Garage

Events that require attendees pay for their own parking are better suited for the SacPark Event Reservation program. To add an event to the SacPark Reservation system, please email the request to ParkingCSR@cityofsacramento.org with the details of the event, including venue, time, and event name. If the event is approved for the online system, guests simply visit www.sacpark.org for SacPark Event Parking Reservations to choose their parking facility and pay online for their parking.

How to distribute passes to attendees

Hosts of events who wish to cover the cost of  parking for attendees may purchase passes and distribute one of two ways:

Email QR code to attendees: attendees may print or download to their mobile device, or distribute printed QR code passes a the event.

Distribute passes at the event: attendees may collect the pass at the event and will need to be advised that both the ticket they pulled at the entrance and the QR code pass will be required at the exit.

How to use passes

Discount passes are in the form of a QR code that may be downloaded to a mobile device or printed, depending on the distribution option chosen by the event host.

Attendees must be informed prior to the event as to which garage facility to park at. They will pull a ticket from the dispenser at the entry gate. Upon exiting, they will insert the pulled ticket either at a garage pay machine or at the exit reader, then scan the discount pass QR under the reader to apply the discount towards  their total parking session.

Hosts may determine how much of the parking session cost the passes will discount. The passes may be programmed to cover the total cost of parking for each attendee, or a portion.
