Environmental Justice
Sacramento is committed to an equitable and just transition to carbon neutrality, all while building a community in which Sacramentans can prosper.
At its core, environmental justice is an affirmation that all people are entitled to live, work, and play in a clean and healthy environment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, nationality, culture, or income (definition adapted from the California Environmental Justice Alliance).
