About

The Sacramento Marina is the only off-river dockage marina in the Sacramento area, accessible from HWY 50, I-80, and I-5. Its natural, serene setting and proximity to the Sacramento and American Rivers offer abundant opportunities for outdoor activities. Boating and water sports may be enjoyed on the area's lakes, rivers, and along over 1,000 miles of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta's waterways.

Public Education: Boat America Class

April 4th, 2026 - Boat America is a all day, in-person boating certificate class offering in-depth boat safety course providing the knowlege needed to obtain a boating certifcate. Meets the requirements to obtain the California Boater Card. Class held at the Sacramento Marina - 2710 Ramp Way. Must register in advance.

    Purchase available at the Marina Administration Office or in the Revenue Division at New City Hall. View counter hours prior to visiting either location.
