Transportation Projects
The Public Works Department delivers transportation capital improvement projects which improve and enhance public safety, achieve sustainability, enhance livability, and expand economic development. To support the current and anticipated growth in Sacramento, the City must continue to design and construct new infrastructure improvements to meet these needs.
Additional project information can be obtained in the current transportation capital improvement program (pdf).
See below for overview, updates, and more information on highlighted projects that are currently in the planning and design process, in construction, or have recently been completed.
Please visit our CIP Dashboard transportation capital improvement projects that are underway throughout the entire City.
