Inaugural North Sacramento Music in the Park Series

Councilmember Dickinson launched the North Sacramento Music in the Park Series this year, transforming underutilized neighborhood spaces into vibrant hubs of community connection. Hosted at Woodlake Park and Hagginwood Park, the lively series brought neighbors together through unforgettable live performances by the Sacramento Philharmonic and the QVO Soul Band.

Beyond bringing great music to local parks, the initiative focused heavily on supporting neighborhood families through major backpack giveaways—equipping local students with key school supplies while fostering a fun, supportive atmosphere for the entire community.
