About the Volunteer Engagement program
The City’s Volunteer Program offers residents a diverse array of opportunities to serve our community. Opportunities range from outdoor park clean up events to office-based assistance. Check out a list of current volunteer opportunities by clicking on the links below:

In addition to the current city and/or city affiliated volunteer opportunities, there are several other community-based organizations seeking volunteers.
Land Park Volunteer Corps (LPVC)
Opportunity Name - Land Park Clean Up
Description - Typically, volunteers are needed on the first Saturday of every month, but please check the LPVC website to verify; check-in is at Base Camp located in the picnic grounds located directly behind Fairytale Town.

United Way California Capital Region (UWCCR)
Opportunity Name - Students & Tutors Achieving Reading Success (STARS) Program
Description - Volunteers are needed twice a week for 30-minute virtual tutoring sessions throughout the 2021-22 school year. During the sessions, volunteers will serve as literacy coaches helping students build vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills through games, books, and lessons.

How to apply
All City volunteers must apply via the MyImpactPage portal. Applicants should utilize the left menu to search current opportunities. If an applicant finds an opportunity of interest, the applicant should create a MyImpactPage account and complete the application.
