Recommendation Follow-Up

The Office of the City Auditor conducts performance audits and performs research and analysis and makes recommendations to strengthen accountability and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of City programs. In many cases, this involves verifying compliance with laws and regulations, identifying internal control weaknesses and failures, and assessing whether the City has acquired and used its resources efficiently. The office monitors the implementation of all recommendations, and reports on the status of all open recommendations every six months with a semi-annual report. To prepare these reports, we meet with department staff, review documentation provided by the departments, and perform testing to determine implementation progress. Click on the cards below to access interactive dashboards related to the recommendation follow-up process.
