Help us shape the new 6-acre neighborhood park at Delta View Ave. & Tidal View Way! Your input will guide the design of this park to reflect the recreational needs of your family and the broader community. The Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment Department wants to hear from you. We are gathering community input on preferred park features, amenities, and overall layout for the Delta Shores neighborhood park. Your ideas will directly help our city landscape architect develop a site amenities plan that reflects community priorities. Whether you’re interested in playgrounds, picnic areas, sports courts and fields, or community gardens, your feedback is essential.

The City of Sacramento Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment Department will have a Community Engagement Survey seeking input from those residents currently living within ½ mile of this proposed park. We will be looking for input on the park’s design and site planning.

Proposed Design and Development Schedule:

• The park amenities plan is anticipated to be reviewed and approved in spring 2027. 
• The City’s senior landscape architect is expected to prepare the construction documents in 2027. 
•  The project is anticipated to be bid in winter 2027. 
•  Construction is expected to begin in spring 2028, with completion targeted for the end of 2028.
