George H. Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund

George H. Clark was the Sacramento City Manager from 1900 to 1903. In 1951, a scholarship fund was established in his honor resulting from a bequest he made under his will. The George Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarship benefits to Sacramento high school students.

It is administered by trustees including the superintendent of the Sacramento City Unified School District, the City Manager, and, on a rotating basis, the principal of the most populous high school in the District, or their respective designees. In 2000, the trustees engaged the services of the City Treasurer to invest the scholarship fund.
