Daily Commuter Parking Reservations (SacPass)

Online reservation is only valid for the date reflected on the pass. A maximum of one scan is allowed to enter the facility and one scan at the exit to drive out.

SacPass for daily commuter parking

View locations of parking meters, facilities, and other parking amenities. SacPasses are daily parking passes. Employees working in downtown Sacramento can buy them online. These passes apply to City-owned parking garages. Users get a QR code, which can be printed or downloaded. This code is scanned at the garage entrance and exit.

Multiple daily passes are avilable up to 7 days in advance. It's best to purchase early, as passes may sell out.

SacPass prices are flat-rate for the entire parking session. Daily prices may change based on demand.

How to purchase SacPass

  1.  Visit the SacPass Reservation portal: Create an online account or sign in.
  2.  Purchase your SacPass: Select a parking facility and parking date.
  3.  Save your daily SacPass QR code: Download on mobile phone or print out
  4.  Scan the SacPass QR code: Scan to enter the garage and again later to exit. The pass does not allow multiple entries or exits.

SacPass must be used during these hours:

Any entry or exit not within these hours will require payment of additional fees at the facility's rate.

Enter any time during these hours: 4:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Exit any time during these hours: 4:00 p.m.  - 6:00 p.m.

Terms and conditions

  • SacPass is valid for one parking session, including a maximum of one scan to enter and one scan to exit the facility.  The pass does not allow multiple entries or exits. 
  • SacPass parking rates vary according to parking location and parking operator. Most current rates are reflected online at time of purchase and are subject to change at any time.
  • SacPass program availability is subject to facility occupancy, including during large local events.
  • Passes may be purchased up to seven days in advance. One SacPass per vehicle per valid date. 
  • SacPass is valid for one entry and one exit (one complete parking session). SacPass may not be used re-enter garage after exit. 
  • Not valid with any other discounts, coupons, or validations. 
  • SacPass is only valid during program use hours. Any entry or exit outside of the program use hours will incur additional charges at the facility's hourly rate.
