The Inspection and Standards Team
The Inspection and Standards Team (IST) is a unit within the Sacramento Police Department. IST was formed in the fall of 2020 primarily to be in accordance with the industry standard of conducting certain necessary audits and inspections within the department. These audits and inspections cover a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to: body-worn cameras, narcotics, firearms, RIPA, and search-and-seizure.
