How to claim lost and found property
If you believe one of the items listed below belongs to you, please contact the Sacramento Police Department Evidence and Property Section by phone (916-808-5237) or Email to begin the claims process.
To claim an item, you must be able to provide a detailed description, or proof of ownership.
Unclaimed property is held for a limited time in accordance with California law. If unclaimed, these items will eventually be sold at auction, and can be viewed at PropertyRoom.com.

Location and hours
If your property was booked as evidence or for safekeeping, you will need to contact our Evidence and Property division to recover your items.
