Nicole Curran is a proud daughter of a small business owner, and she knows first-hand how much hard work and sacrifice that goes into making a small business run successfully. She was born and raised in Southern California and has called Sacramento home since 2008. Prior to joining Coucilmember Pluckebaum’s team as his District Director, she has worked at the State Capitol for twenty plus years as a Senior Assistant for various Assemblymembers, the past three Assembly Speakers and Governor Gray Davis. It was her time in the Governor’s office where she learned how to make constituent casework her passion.

District Director Nicole Curran

Nicole serves as a consummate volunteer who has dedicated her time and energy in her community. Nicole has helped extensively with fundraising efforts for Mustard Seed School and for local animal shelters. She is also an advocate for Dyslexia awareness on behalf of her son, Cruz and other families, and an advocate for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MAAD) and Alzheimer’s Association. When she’s not working or volunteering, she enjoys catching a King’s basketball game and of course walking her rescue-dogs along West Sacramento’s beautiful river front.
