Cat owners

Front Street volunteers can schedule a limited number of spay/neuter appointments for cats each month. We do NOT issue vouchers for feral or free-roaming cats. If you have a pet cat who needs to get fixed, you have a few options for getting an appointment:

  • Option 1: Call us at 916-808-7383 and leave a message
  • Option 2: Apply online
  • Option 3: Schedule directly with one of our spay/neuter partners (see below). Once you get an appointment, call us at 916-808-7383 and let us know your appointment date. We will issue you a voucher if you qualify
  • Community Spay Neuter Clinic -- Search for an available appointment
  • Sacramento SPCA -- Put your name on the waitlist

Both of our partner organizations have backlogs, and you probably won't get an appointment right away. Keep trying!

If you choose Option 1 or 2, a volunteer will contact you and let you know if there are any available appointments to schedule. If there are and if you qualify, we will issue you a voucher.

Dog owners

Front Street volunteers cannot schedule spay/neuter appointments for dogs directly. Instead, you must schedule directly with one of our spay/neuter partners (see below). Once you get an appointment, call us at 916-808-7383 and let us know your appointment date. We will issue you a voucher if you qualify.
