Fostering a Cat

From newborn bottle babies to mama cats and their kittens to adult cats that need a little extra tender-loving care, you make it possible for us to provide the very best care possible for all of our shelter pets. Fostering can be messy, rewarding, stinky, adorable, and sometimes heartbreaking. We certainly couldn't do it without valuable foster homes like yours! From all of our cats and kittens, you are the cat's meow!

Upcoming cat foster class

Saturday May 18, 10:00 am, Front Street Animal Shelter

Want to help save lives? Interested in being a foster? Then come to this 1-hour introductory class on cat fostering! All fosters must take this class before they can foster a cat or kitten for the shelter. You will learn about bottle babies, kitten care, moms and babies, hospice care, respite care, and medical fostering. After learning about each type of foster care, you will choose the type of cat you would like to foster.
