Dog Adoption Special

Adoption fee for all dogs will be waived starting on Saturday, October 18 and lasting through Friday, October 31.

Our kennels are full, and we urgently need your help. Every day, more dogs arrive at the our shelter than we can house. These are loving, hopeful animals who deserve a second chance.

When you adopt, you're not just changing one life. You're saving two:  the dog you bring home and the next dog who gets a spot because of you.

Available dogs with adoption fees already paid for

The adoption fee for the dogs shown below have been paid for with donations from community members. If you would like to know more about one of these dogs, please click on the dog's photo to view the online profile.

Adoption fees for adult dogs and puppies

  • Adult dog (over 6 months old) - $25*   (regular price: $100)
  • Puppy (under 6 months old) - $150*

* Adult dogs and puppies in high demand may have higher adoption fees. Charging higher fees for those in high demand helps fund animals with special needs and allows us to offer lower fees for animals who struggle to get adopted. An adoption counselor will let you know if a special adoption fee applies.

What's included with every adult dog and puppy adoption

  • Spay or neuter surgery*
  • Microchip (with registration)
  • Bordetella and DHPP vaccinations
  • Rabies vaccination
  • Flea preventative
  • Deworming preventative
  • 1-year dog license (city residents only)
  • Free health exam voucher
  • Dog collar and leash

* Some dogs may not be spayed/neutered at the time of the meet-and-greet/adoption and will need to stay at the shelter until their surgery appointment.
