Description
The City of Sacramento enforces compliance of California Vehicle Codes related to use of Disabled Person placards and plates
laws and regulations
Disabled persons displaying a valid DP license plate or placard in their vehicles may park past the time limit at on-street parking spaces and are exempt from on-street meter payments. Exemptions from meter payments are limited to meters on the street. Exemption does not include off-street parking facilities, which may require payment to park.
Please view reverse side of the DP placard or any information receieved from the CA DMV regarding proper use of the placards or plates.
