Meet the Chief
Chris Costamagna, the 23rd Fire Chief of the Sacramento Fire Department, mangages over 760 employees and a $191 million annual budget. With 33 years in the fire service, Costamagna has worked on the development and delivery of several pipeline programs, focusing on the Youth Academy and Reserves, working on re-engineering standards to reduce artificial barriers to entry into the fire service that were previously not recognized.
