On May 14, 2024, Council passed a motion directing staff to provide a quarterly report of contracts that have been executed under the City Manager’s authority. Per the City’s Procurement Code, the City Manager has authority to execute a contract for an amount under $250,000.

 

Procurement has reviewed all instances in which the cumulative value of contracts awarded to an individual vendor was equal to or greater than $250,000. In all instances, the cumulative amount was greater than $250,000 due to the vendor being awarded multiple contracts under $250,000 for different goods or services, with each contract being awarded via formal solicitations.
