Speak another language? No problem. Use the language identification handout to point to your language so staff can connect you with an interpreter. Need an interpreter when visiting a City facility or public counter? No problem. Look for the new “I Speak” displays — now available at 19 locations across the City! Free interpretation services are available in the City of Sacramento, as requested. We’re here to help!

"I Speak" Cards
Take an “I Speak” card and show it to staff to quickly let them know what language you speak. Cards are currently available in Spanish, Hmong, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Punjabi. You can even save a digital version to your phone!

Additional Services
In addition to the I Speak cards, individuals may be asked to "point to your language" by City staff. When you point to your respective language, you will be connected with an interpreter that will help you communiciate with staff.
