As a proud native of Meadowview, South Sacramento, and a product of the Sacramento City Unified School District, Sada has always been deeply connected to her community. With a B.S. in Global Disease Biology and a Minor in Chinese from UC Davis, she is passionate about public health, community engagement, and language justice. During her time as a Heart and Hustle Fellow with the Office of Councilmember Mai Vang, she worked closely with residents, city leaders, and organizations to support community initiatives and foster civic engagement. After completing the fellowship, she continued to actively volunteer as the Secretary of the Meadowview Neighborhood Association in 2024, a member of the Meadowview Urban Tree Project, and a participant in several other community initiatives.
Sada is also an organizer for Sacramento Unity Eid, helping to bring together one of the largest multicultural celebrations in the region. Her commitment to advocacy, outreach, and bridging language and cultural gaps drives her work as an upcoming NDAT Community Ambassador. She looks forward to collaborating with fellow ambassadors and city leaders to build trust, amplify underrepresented voices, and ensure that all communities have access to resources and opportunities.
