Meter & Space Reservation Fees

The following fees are charged for each application:

  • Reservation sign posting fee (includes posting of sign barricades)
  • Daily fee 
  • Adminstration fee

These fees may be assessed based on the reservation details

Expedite fee

This fee will automatically be assessed for any application, change order, or cancellation submitted less than 10 business days prior to the event or project start date. (City Council Resolution 2010-265)

Removal or installation fees

Additional fees are required for the removal or installation of any meter heads, meter pipes, or payment machines (kiosks). Due to liability reasons, removal or installation of any City equipment must be performed by City staff.

Fines and charges for violations

Unauthorized removal of any City equipment or posted signage is a violation of Sacramento City Code section 10.40 and will subject the applicant to fines and additional costs to repair or replace equipment.
