Swim Team
The City of Sacramento’s Recreational Swim Teams program offers a summer of swim training and competition in our Rec Swim League. Swimmers will refine their strokes, learn starts, turns, and work on building endurance and speed. Teams offer multiple practices a week and opportunities to participate in swim meets throughout the season.
Fee: $149
Prerequisite
Swimmers must be at least 7 years old at the start of practice. Swimmers must be able to jump in feet first into water over their head, level off and swim 25 yards front crawl/freestyle with face in the water, using any breathing pattern, and immediately swim 25 yards of back crawl/backstroke. Participants must successfully demonstrate all prerequisites at the first practice. Participants who cannot successfully demonstrate swimming prerequisites are not eligible for swim team and will either be transferred into lessons or given a refund.
