  • In early June, 2021, Sacramento County and the City of Sacramento held a webinar to provide information to Businesses and Commercial Properties about the new mandatory Organics Recycling, including: New food waste recycling laws, how these laws impact you and how to comply, available resources and why changes are important.

Commercial generators are encouraged to contact their commercial solid waste hauler for education and outreach materials. The City has also posted some of the most commonly used bin labels created by several City of Sacramento commercial franchised haulers for each line of service below:
