Parking Client & Business Services

The City of Sacramento Parking Services Division provides services to local parking facility owners to support their operation to help generate revenues, create market presence, and provide drivers parking options in areas where on-street parking may be limited. 

Why do we provide these services?

Supporting shared parking alternatives, maximizing underutilized off-street spaces, and reducing the need to build new parking structures, are some of the many sustainability goals of the City of Sacramento Parking Services Division. Additionally, moving long-term parkers to off-street parking facilities creates more parking on the street for drivers who need to short-term parking. This creates the parking turnover on the street that will support businesses, residents, and visitors to the Central City.

Certified Partner program

The SacPark reservation website can bring customers to you and offers more efficient operations during large events in the downtown area. Create online presence while maintaining complete control over your facility rates and operations. 

This partnership provides more online exposure to new customers and allows convenient parking options for drivers. Partners gain access to customers for all major events and maximize operational efficiency through a reservation system that will guide occupancy planning.

The SacPark program offers a trial period of three months of free marketing services with the Base Package. Reservation processing and Credit Card Gateway fees apply to reservations made online through the SacPark website.

Payment of the Marketing Services fee is required to continue participation after the initial trial period. Compliance with the program's Event Partner Best Practices is required to maintain partnership status and provides consistent customer service to all drivers, regardless which facility they choose to park in.

Managed Parking Solutions

Our Managed Parking Solutions program for privately-owned and public (state and county) parking facilities provides proven methods and experience to improve your parking operation. This program provides the potential to generate more revenues for the facility owner and market visibility to the new customers.

Shared parking alternatives, maximizing underutilized off-street spaces, and reducing the need to build new parking structures, are some of the many sustainability goals of the City of Sacramento Parking Services Division. Additionally, moving long-term parkers to off-street parking facilities creates more parking on the street for drivers who need to make quick visits and creates turnover that supports businesses, residents, and visitors to the Central City. 

Regardless of whether the facility supports 10 cars or 1,000, the Parking Services Division has the proven experience to market access to customers, minimize some of the challenges that may exist with a parking operation, and maximize revenues.

Our diverse clientele include government-owned parking garages, mixed-use residential parking, office complexes, recreational facilities and privately owned parking facilities. Our teams of qualified parking professionals are excited to further discuss the right solutions for you and have an array of management options available.

Management options are customized to each client. However, general packages include: parking enforcement support, payment management with parking enforcement, or monthly parking operations. Any rental of City equipment, such as pay kiosks, will be an additional fee.
