Isaac Gonzalez, a dedicated Sacramento native, has been an active community member throughout his life. Raised in South Sacramento and Meadowview, he now resides in Tahoe Park with his wife, children, and three dogs. Isaac's commitment to his community is evident through his various leadership roles. He currently serves as President of both the Tahoe Park Neighborhood Association and NAMI Sacramento, and holds positions on the Board of Directors for the Food Literacy Center, the Sacramento Food Policy Council, and the Community Advisory Committee for the Sacramento YMCA. Additionally, he is a 'Real Men Wear Pink' ambassador for the American Cancer Society Sacramento.

Isaac's passion for public safety and wellbeing led him to found 'Slow Down Sacramento', a grassroots initiative aimed at reducing pedestrian and cyclist fatalities.

He has been a member of the Sacramento Active Transportation Commission since 2023. In his personal life, Isaac enjoys building Legos with his son and listening to '80s music with his daughter, embodying the spirit of community and family that he advocates for in his professional and volunteer work.
